Crista De la Garza

Crista de la Garza serves on the Board of Directors and community committee for NCBTMB. She is an Approved Continuing Education Provider for NCBTMB and Yoga Alliance. Crista is E-RYT200 & RYT500 registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. She is persuing a MA in Higher Education Leadership with Siena Heights University.

She holds a BA in Humanities, Theatre Arts & Dance, from the University of the Incarnate Word in her hometown San Antonio, TX. She began her career in Massage Therapy in 2005 and then taught Ethics and Communication skills as Faculty at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 2012. She presently teaches and practices Yoga, Massage, Dance, and Art in Boulder,Co, and is available to guest teach Continuing Ed courses.

Her massage style is productive & specific with a compassionate and mindful artistic flow of Swedish and deep tissue trigger-point therapies.  Her practice is focused on injury prevention & rehabilitation, with an understanding that massage therapy prepares us to navigate the nuances of transitions in life with greater grace and ease.
