I'm a licensed massage therapist and owner of Arlington Therapeutic Massage and Energy Healing offering highly-individualized massage therapy sessions to provide relief from chronic pain. I work on everyday people, from office workers to athletes to those just looking to relax in the Northern Virginia area. I specialize in clinical massage treating chronic muscular issues that perpetuate pain such as neck and shoulder stiffness, IT band syndrome and lower back pain. I also enjoy working with clients to reduce stress and anxiety, and help restore calm after a frenetic day.

I hold a Masters degree in Organizational Development and have over 15 years' experience in the government contracting space in human resources development and conflict resolution, partnering with customers and fostering trusting relationships to bring resolution to their challenges. I enjoy the people aspect of my career most, and became increasingly interested in massage therapy as a career after experiencing the many benefits of outcome-based bodywork in treating my own postural and muscular pain issues from sitting long hours at a desk and injuries sustained from my (very dedicated) dancing hobby! Since then, I've completed an intensive massage therapy program with an integrative approach to science and bodywork, and a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques at the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage. I have also worked for a local spa and mobile massage service providers.

Via my own life experiences I realized the value of therapeutic touch is tantamount to medical care, serves as complementary adjunct therapy and is the perfect way for me to serve others on a more personal level and make a difference in their lives. I'm a mother, semi-professional dancer, DC area worker bee and an enthusiast of alternative care modalities. My diverse background offers a unique perspective to provide you with the best massage therapy experience and outcomes to relieve chronic pain and anxiety. I look forward to working with you.
