Sophie Tabak

Sophie is a licensed massage therapist in New Jersey. She graduated at the top of her class from the Therapeutic Massage & Training Center in Westfield, New Jersey. Sophie has a strong interest in trigger point therapy, myofascial release, deep tissue, and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation. She uses these modalities, among others, to customize each massage she gives to her clients. Sophie is steadily learning more to broaden her knowledge base for the benefit of each client.

Sophie believes that each body has the ability to heal itself if given the proper tools, therapeutic massage being one such tool. She feels strongly about the benefits of massage therapy, such as: reduction in stress and anxiety, improved physical mobility, reduced physical discomfort, and increased immunity. Having received regular massage therapy for over 15 years before training for her license, she has experienced firsthand the true value of therapeutic massage.

Sophie has a background in psychology and customer service. She thinks effective
communication, respect, and client education are key components to developing a solid working relationship with each client.
