Cheyenne Ray

Cheyenne Ray, LMT has been practicing massage therapy since 2017 and was immediately enthralled with Body Insight, an Integrated Neuromuscular Therapy that uses isolated movement and pressure to effectively work through adhesions in the muscle, while also involving the brain in the process to ensure lasting results.

Cheyenne started Solstice Massage Therapy to have the freedom to explore modalities and bodywork without the constraints of a spa or clinic. She found through her work that lasting results and true healing came from sessions that included both relaxation and therapeutic work, not just one or the other. Solstice has a duality about it that accurately portrays physical healing; a body needs ample amounts of both activity and rest to be healthy. Solstice is the celestial cycle of light and darkness, the transition in nature from a time of liveliness to a period of rest and back again. As humans, we are both light and dark, and the essence of both must be tended to as we embark on our own adventures of health and renewal.

In a session with Cheyenne, clients can expect an open-minded approach to bodywork. She uses an array of movement, stretching, and tools (such as cups and warm stones) to loosen tight areas and correct postural deviations. It will be an interactive session, where she and the client will work together to release tension. Her goal is to have you feeling less pain in a shorter amount of time that lasts for weeks or more outside the session.
