I offer you a unique style of massage. Esalen Institute, where I have trained comprehensively as an Esalen massage therapist, is renowned for it's development of a full body integrated style known as The Long Stroke. This means full body effleurage from neck to hip to toe in a long flowing stroke, rather than focusing on one limb or body section at a time. Its a much more complete holistic way to introduce you to receiving more specific attention to detail, and deep tissue therapy where it is needed. I have also trained with Perry and Johanna Holloman at Esalen in deep tissue therapy. Esalen bodywork massage is so much about deep presence, intention, care and attention to detail.

LomiLomi is traditional Hawaiian style of body oriented healing. Explicitly the movements are forearm circular and gliding movements which align quite well with the Esalen style. There is also a Heart centered spiritual side to this tradition; essentially an invitation to healing. The work calls for deep presence and focus on each persons individual needs. I have studied heart and soul with two different Hawaiian masters of bodywork healing LomiLomi Ho'oponopono.

Esalen massage and bodywork is so compatible with LomiLomi that I decided to integrate these two styles into a rejuvenating, relaxing and deeply healing offering. It's an invitation to openness. As the LomiLomi pule (prayer) says; "I am radiant in the light of Aloha, The breath of God is in our presence". Keeping these and other pule in mind when I work invites awareness, openness, Trust and Guidance for healing touch. Touch Medicine! I feel blessed to be a Kumu giver in this practice which nourishes my receiver as well as me. It's a practice grounded in the intelligence of the Heart.

In addition, I have trained extensively in the practices taught by Richard Strozzi, Kathy Kain, Zuza Engler, Anna Halprin and Bill Bowen in Somatic(Body) Mindful Awareness and Movement oriented Healing Transformation and am a certified Strozzi Somatic Coach.
