Rebecca Moninghoff

After being naturally drawn to massage most of my life, I began my official massage therapy training in 2005 at the Virginia Career Institute located in Virginia Beach, VA.  I was awarded a diploma of Massage Therapy in February 2006 with a 4.0 GPA.  I passed the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCETMB) and was licensed to Practice as a Massage Therapist by the Board of Nursing to the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Health Professions.  I have been a Certified member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP) since September 2006.  In 2007 I relocated to Northern Virginia where I  continue my private massage practice.  

I enjoy participating in continuing education courses.  I feel this benefits my clients as well as myself.  I have CEU's in various modalities such as Massage Cupping, Reflexology, Hot Stone, Sports Massage, and Ethics.  I am currently Reiki II certified and plan to someday achieve Reiki Master.  

Much of my time outside of massage is spent volunteering with the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foriegn Wars Post 1503, Dale City, VA.  This is important to me as  both of my grandfather's served in WWII, I served 4 years in the US Navy, my husband is retired from the US Army, and my nephew is currently serving in the US Marine Corps.
