Monica became well versed in Anatomy & Physiology and athletic injuries as a student athletic trainer (S.A.T.) for Oviedo High School. Her passion for helping athletes return to competition after an injury led her to further volunteer as a S.A.T. for the University of Central Florida, where she had the opportunity to travel with the Knights from 2000-2003, work with the New York/New Jersey Hitmen (XFL) during their Spring Practice in 2001, and the Orlando Predators (AFL) later that same year.
In Fall of 2005 she decided to further her career and attended the Florida College of Natural Health, where she completed the Basic Massage Therapy Program. Her continuing education courses have included Prenatal massage, Reflexology, and the Medical Massage Practitioner Certification.
In 2012 she decided to add skin care to the treatments she offers, focusing on improving and rejuvenating the skin's condition with personalized treatments.
