Vitality seems to be the unspoken goal of many of the massage sessions I provide.  Since maintenance massage is a large part of my life as well as those of my long time massage clients, I felt the business name Vitality was a good fit.  I provide customized sessions along with my 29+ years of experience and continuing education, to give you the best experience I can.  

Whether you want help with headaches, joint pain, that "bad knee" or just need a place of solitude from the stress of life, Vitality- Integrative Massage Therapy can help you meet (and sometime exceed) those goals!  Massage is an integral part of anyone's health maintenance program.  Maintenance massage can get you to the point where you feel a renewed/recovered vitality and stability in your life.

SESSIONS I OFFER

One Hour:  $110.00

One Hour and a Half: $165.00

My sessions are customized to the needs of my client on that specific date.  I can provide specific work for issues of concern, a general massage with some shorter areas for spot specific work, or general massage for relaxation.

I specialize in deep tissue massage and have experience in many other modalities including myofacial release, reflexology, trigger point massage, PNF, Prenatal Massage and Massage for children. Application of heat, ice and/or topicals, myofascial cupping, and kinesiology taping are free of charge.

ABOUT ME

I received my massage training from The Deep Muscle Therapy Center of Delaware.  I graduated from DMTC in 1996.  I worked in the professional clinic at DMTC.  I was the instructor for the intermediate section at DMTC for a semester.  After leaving DMTC, I have worked for spas and chiropractors mainly.  In 2005 I became fully self-employed and work from my office located in Northeastern Maryland. I continue to work in colaboration with chiropractors and phyiscal therapists in the area.  I am a member of ABMP, and a Maryland Licensed Massage Therapist.

My hope for my clients is for them to get to a point where they no longer have pain and aches that go with daily living or certain medical conditions/injuries.  I also aim for a reduction in stress and an increase in the ability to get a good restorative nights sleep.

My clients describe me as being detail oriented, friendly, deeply caring, and professional.  I make it a priority to listen to your concerns and customize the massage to what YOU need.  I also have the reputation of being deep and precise with my palpation.  I have an orthopedic/medical massage background with experience in relaxation/stress reduction as well.

I have available appointment times from Monday - Thursday.  Many appointments are filled by long time clients and it may take up to a few weeks to get an appointment depending on day and time needed.  If you are not able to get an appointment, I do offer a cancelation list.

POLICIES

Cancellation Policy
I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In my desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:

24 hour advance notice is requested for cancelation

This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give 24 hours advance notice you may be charged a fee related to the length of the appointment being canceled. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.

No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged for their “missed” appointment. I also reserve the right to not reschedule the appointment or make future appointments.

Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session will be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start your treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session amount. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other clients, please plan accordingly and be on time.

Minors:

Any child under the age of 18 must be accompanied by his or her parent or guardian or give written persmission for treatment.

Professionalism:

I am a Professional Massage Therapist.  Comments or actions of a sexual nature will NOT be tolerated. I reserve the right to refuse treatment to anyone who is intoxicated, suffering from a contagious disease, or for any other reason I feel is necessary.

Returned Checks:

In the event of a returned check, there will be a $30 fee and you will be responsible to pay any additional fees incurred to me by the bank.
