Aaron Strong

My name is Aaron Strong and the name Infinite Empathy comes from my personal experience with chronic pain. I practice patience for my own body and its limits, allowing it to flow through to each client. My journey to professional bodywork began as early as 5 years old, offering a healing touch to family, and to friends throughout my youth. After years of manual labor and following 3 years of active duty in the army I lived with chronic pain for several years. While pursuing an audio engineering career I found that the work environment in the engineering field was aggravating my pain, so made the career shift to massage therapy. I received my professional massage therapy certification in 2014

I am a native of East Oakland. Being born and raised in such a richly diverse environment—culturally, ethnically, and economically—lends insight to the range of issues any client may bring to the table (or chair). My goals are to incorporate an empathetic touch and to find points on the body that originate discomfort, thereby resetting the response of the nervousness system, allowing the body to let go of tension and increase blood flow to promote healing.  In each session I offer a personalized approach to therapeutic massage with the aim to enhance circulation and flexibility. For clients who want an energetic quality I offer subtle and traditional Chinese medical techniques and breathing. For the athlete I utilize targeted stretches and range of motion therapy.
