The Vermont Center for Energy Medicine is located in Shelburne, Vermont and offers holistic, energy-based therapies and training classes in reiki and energy medicine.

 

We offer safe and effective energy balancing sessions that complement any existing healthcare system. No diagnosis is given, no medications are prescribed, and no invasive techniques are used. Energy work is often experienced as gentle, relaxing and restorative while enhancing a sense of wellbeing.

 

Our mission at the Vermont Center for Energy Medicine is to empower and support the natural inner movement toward greater wholeness, enhanced wellbeing and higher purpose. Whether addressing a specific health concern, dealing with stress & change, or focusing on personal growth & transformation, energy medicine can be an integral part of the path to wholeness.

 

Practioner Bio

 

Cindy Carse has been studying and practicing energy medicine since 1997. Her background includes over 2,000 hours of training in Asian healing arts, chakra and aura balancing, bioenergetics, massage, kinesiology, and Native healing techniques.

 

Cindy is a Graduate of the Seattle area’s Northwest School of Healing, a 4-year program in energy healing. Following her initial training, she served as an assistant teacher in the school for three years. She is an initiated Reiki Master/Teacher in the Usui Tradition of Natural Healing and offers Reiki classes for groups and individuals.

 

She is a Certified Spiritual Healer who had the honor of learning traditional healing practices with a Lakota medicine woman for six years. This wisdom is incorporated into energy balancing sessions.

 

Cindy is a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner. This system draws upon Chinese Medicine, yoga, applied kinesiology, and Western anatomy & physiology.

 

Cindy is a member of the Vermont Reiki Association, International Society for the Study of Subtle Energy & Energy Medicine (ISSSEEM), International BodyTalk Association (IBA), and Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP).

 

She is nationally certified in therapeutic massage and bodywork (NCTMB), and is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education provider (#451439-10).

 

Cindy has a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science Education and a Master of Arts in Education - Curriculum & Instruction. She spent ten years as an elementary teacher, and three years as a curriculum specialist. She still considers herself an educator, but in the field of energy medicine.

 

Education is about empowerment. She views her role as a practitioner as one of guiding clients to access their own inner source of wisdom and healing.
