About Me & My Wellness Philosophy
I am a proud graduate and top student of Elite Touch Institute, excelling in both academics and hands-on training, and I passed my MBLEX with flying colors. As the owner of CiCi Therapeutic Massage, my philosophy is simple: healing comes through human touch, compassion, and understanding. My goal is to help you feel better not just in your body, but in your mind. I believe every massage should be tailored meanign by listening first, then treating, always with respect for your comfort and wellness.
The Benefits of Massage
Massage therapy offers a wide range of benefits, both physical and mental. Some of the ways people often improve through regular massage include:
- Reduced muscle tension and pain, especially in tight or overworked areas.
- Improved circulation, helping oxygen and nutrients reach your tissues and speeding healing.
- Greater flexibility and range of motion.
- Reduced inflammation in joints and soft tissues.
- Lowered stress, anxiety, and overall feeling of tension.
- Better sleep / improved quality of rest.
- Mood enhancement: massage often supports relaxation and a sense of overall well-being.
What You Can Expect During a Massage Session
Here’s how I make sure each session is safe, comfortable, and effective:
Initial Consultation
Before we begin, I’ll ask about your medical history, any areas of pain or tension, your wellness goals, and what kind of pressure you prefer. This helps me customize the session to you.
Massage Environment
Your privacy and comfort matter. You’ll have a private space to undress to your comfort level while I leave the room. You’ll be properly draped with a sheet or towel, and only the area being massaged will be uncovered. The room will be soothing, soft lighting, relaxing music, and everything arranged to help you unwind.
The Massage Session
We’ll begin with gentler strokes to warm up the muscles, then I’ll work more deeply (or stay gentle if that’s what you prefer), addressing specific problem spots. I’ll continuously check in with you about pressure, comfort, and how you’re feeling. If any part of the massage is too much, just tell me, your calm and safety are priority.
After the Massage
Once we’re done, you’ll have time to dress in privacy. Drink water afterward to help flush out toxins and reduce soreness. Sometimes you might feel a little tired or a gentle “glow” of well-being. You may also get some home-care tips: stretches, heat/ice, or posture tweaks to help maintain benefits between sessions.
