April Emmons

Hello, my name is April. I have enjoyed being a professional massage therapist since April 2010.   After graduating from Aquarian Age Alternatives in Carmel Indiana, I have been employed by a spa, chiropractor, and am currently the owner/operator of April Emmons Massage Inc. and Indy Massage Company, alongside Alli Padrick.

I am state and nationally certified and have thousands of massage hours of experience. I specialize in neck, shoulder, and back pain; Personally, I have struggled with sciatica, degenerative disc disease and chronic neck and shoulder pain for over 10 years; therefore I am familiar with ways to ease pain in these areas. In addition to Swedish, myofascial release and deep tissue, I am also trained to perform a type of body work on the table, “table Thai massage” which is assisted body stretching or assisted yoga.

I became a certified yoga instructor in 2008 through City Yoga in Indianapolis and incorporate that experience into my massage practice. I also have hundreds of hours of experience with Thai Yoga Massage performed fully clothed on a floor mat.
