I am a graduate of the East West College of the Healing Arts 800 hour Massage Therapy program.   This program combines a solid foundation in the understanding of the human body with the ability to create effective, personalized treatments.  I studied Swedish, Craniosacral therapy, Pregnancy, Deep Tissue, Myofascial, Therapeutic, and Medical Massage.   Throughout my time there I was encouraged, challenged and inspired to integrate my abilities to engage in critical thinking and to follow my intuition. I have taken additional Continuing education in Thai Massage and Mayan Abdominal therapy.

Soon after graduating I was employed at a chiropractor’s office as a chiropractor’s assistant and later moved into the role of Massage therapist. I worked mostly with motor vehicle accidents, sports, and work related injuries. Creating effective massage treatment plans that met the client's needs. Working with my clients to promote their education and participation in this powerful healing process. I then moved on to work at a Massage clinic. Here I learned to slow down and really focus on reducing stress, pain and muscle tension through a relaxation focused massage.

With these experiences my massage has developed into an integration of slow relaxing intuitive touch, with deep tissue and Myofacial release of muscle that is often the most effective, therapeutic and enjoyable massage.
